What does running mean to you:
It’s a way of expressing myself. It makes me feel good, it makes me feel happy. I can have some emotions when I’m running. It’s part of my daily life style.
Favourite place to run:
goodness me, I’ve got so many. I think one of my favourite places (my family is originally from Uganda) so I like running around where my dad’s village is. It’s very remote,
there isn’t a lot of people around the heat is intense and that is one of my favourite places to run.
Your best running memory:
I’ve got quite a number, I think my best running memory is my first marathon – which was the Edinburgh marathon – from around three or four years ago, that’s one of my favourite memories
Why does running matter?
It matters because it’s been a part my life for such a long time, so it matters a lot to me.
Running plans for the future:
So I haven’t told many people, I’ve signed up for the Speed Project which I’m quite nervous about. The group I’m with, Black Trail Runners applied for a grant and I signed up in December and thought I’d never get a place. I got told a week or so ago that I got a place, so now I’ve got to think about doing serious training.
